Congratulations on 3rd overall.  Very very nice final run.  I am honestly wanting to look into why I can't get fast.  I am beginning to admit that I need help.  Not sure what kind of help though.

I like UltraFits races, too bad they had a poor turn-out.  (7 or 8 5K runners!!!).  They should have just left the race in April.  They moved it to July claiming that it was too wet in April but then had everything on the pavement anyway.

yeah - i was shocked by the 8 person 5k.  
even the tri was small - i did a race the week before that was small (119 triathletes). i thought there were more than that here at the start but since almost half those bikes were there for the Du.  They only have 61 finishers listed.  

Besides moving the date this was a Du only (no tri) event last year.

Even though it was half the size as the one I did a week earlier - the competition was tougher. 

as far as getting faster - you will now that you have decided too.  train smart.
