Does anyone know if the construction south of Indian Rocks Beach has progressed enough to ride there again?

Yes!  It's done and the bike lane is great!

Sweet!  I'll be there Saturday morning!  It's going to be so nice not getting launched into the air!

Do you guys have a regular ride from CB to SPB and back? I'm in Tallahassee, but after seeing all the pics of Morton Plant Mease and Sand Key, I was wondering if there is a regular "bridge" ride, or how safe that might be for a group from our tri club to drive down and do one weekend. Thanks!

I don't ride with a group, but I do pass the occasional cluster of roadies both during the week and on the weekends (they're usually doing ~15 mph). I'm not sure who they are, but from what I've heard the Mad Dogs have a pretty good gig going on with group training.

Occasionally there's an issue with tourists during the week and locals on the weekends, and you have to watch everyone at the Clearwater Beach roundabout. All in all, it's a pretty good place to ride.
