Subject: Macca back at Malibu sprint
Just noticed the press release from MESP from last week saying Macca will be back at the Sunday "Classic" sprint tri at Malibu in September.  Registrations are sold out, but an opportunity to at least see him in action for people who want to come out to Zuma.  You can see me (and other BTers, of course), too.  

Last year, he also did the swim leg of a relay in the Saturday Oly...wonder if he'll do that again this year.  The Saturday race is now where most of the pros will be racing.

I watch Macca swim last year in Malibu as my start was in a later wave ,  he was fast compared to the field !   Swam as fast as i walked along the beach .  It was also easy to see him transition as he was in and out on the bike before anybody else.

Its always cool to see how easy the pros make it all look .

We actually saw him heading out on the run while we were still waiting on the beach for our wave start...ridiculous fast.

Had a chance to say "hi" to him a couple times last year...he came out to talk to the Disney team on the Friday night before the races.

MESP hasn't announced the pro field yet.  They did a special announcement of Macca's return participation.
