Nice gentle downhill course in a beautiful setting.  Benefits Alpine Rescue.  Every year I get passed by those kids pushing the guerney   And reg fee is tax deductible -- the only race I've seen that.  You can register the morning of the race.  Hope to see you there!

This is a fun race and they have been holding it for as long as I can remember.  I haven't run it in years but I have run both the 5K and 10K many times.  Super fast course!  My 5K PR was on this course probably 15-years ago.  Unfortunately does not fit in my schedule this year, again.

I may jump on this...I've never done a 5 or a 10k before but doesn't hurt to give it a try...looks like a fun race!

Supposed to be sunny in Evergreen, high of 80*, but should be cool enough for the race.  We're usually at least 10* cooler up here than in the plains.  Most people show up in at least a sweatshirt even tho it's August cuz it'll be cool that early.  They have a truck to take your stuff back to the finish line.
