I'm thinking about putting together a group ride next Sunday 9AUG09 from Schofield. Maybe do a Kunia road KoleKole pass loop or something along those lines. It would most likely be early to avoid the heat. Anyone interested?

What time ya thinking, Mike?  You know the earlier the better for me (especially since I just went to confession tonight which means I can't miss Church on Sundays now...unless I can make it to the Sat mass...) Anyway, let me know!

I have the North Shore Challenge the day before, so I'm not sure I'll be up to it.
I do need to work on my bike though. I'm planning on riding in the century ride.

Doesn't matter to me. I'll ride up from Waialua and meet everybody at Lyman gate. From there we can decide on where/how far. If we do a loop from say KoleKole to the bottom of Kunia and back it's easy to add on or drop off anyone that way. As for time, I'm flexible, but I prefer early to avoid the heat. I don't think speed will be a factor unless Michelle gets to feeling froggy and hammer's me into the dust. I hope my knee will heal up by then.

Don't say it doesn't matter 'cuz I'll come back with "ok, how does 6:30am work for you?"   And while that isn't a big deal to ME...YOU would have to get up and leave awefully dang early to meet us!
With that being said, what works for everyone else that wants to join in the fun 'cuz (like you said, Mike) I can always drop off after doing Kole Kole?!
As for ME feeling froggy, as I recall *scratching head* SOMEONE was doing circles around me last time we did Kunia Rd but then again... *scratching head again* with a bum knee I might have a chance to keep up!

Soooooo, as long as we aren't drowning and we can decide on a time are we still on or is everyone either too sore or just can't play for whatever reason?!

Mike, I don't like it when you're in class...being away from work doesn't allow you enough time to be sociable!!

Well since no one has proposed an actual time and place, I throw one out. We'll use it as a baseline and andjust fire from it to try and fit everyone's situation. So let's say 0800 outside Lyman gate? This location will alleviate bas access issues if anybody has one. If you're good with this please let us know you are coming so we can know how many to expect.

Again, I'm flexible. My significant other is in PTA so I have the time. Just not too early, it takes me about 55 minutes to get to the gate

I would love to join you for the whole thing but I won't be able to so if you don't mind doing Kole Kole first then I can at least have company for that part ~ I'll do Kunia on my own before linking up with you guys.
Is that ok with you guys (doing Kole Kole first, that is!)

Wow, I must be getting old. For some reason I had 0830 stuck in my head. But I just reviewed my own post and sure enough 0800. I have no idea how I screwed that up so bad. I'm so sorry guys, no wonder you didn't wait around I showed up to the gate at 0825 and just knew I wasn't late. I'm might have to punish myself and go swim
