Wake up, drive to race, eat pop tart, coffee for breakfast.
Event warmup:

Stretching...more than usual as my hams were cramping yesterday. Ran a 1 mile warm up with strides.

Not too bad. I probably went out a little too quickly on the first mile but settled into a decent pace. Can't complain with a top 10 run.

I felt like I paced myself much better on the second run. My pace fell off a little more than I'd hoped but overall not bad at all.

Probably should have tapered a bit.

I had a great race. I probably should have been a little faster but not too bad considering I absolutely did not taper for this race at all!
