Comments: This was the first running race I've done, and it was pretty fun! I was really glad the way I paced myself, I started out at about 7:10 or so on the first mile and just tried to stay right around 7:15/mile or so until the last mile or two where I sped it up a little bit. I still did get some minor side stiches but was able to hold them off for the most part. splits: 1 7:12 2 14:28(7:16) 3 21:48(7:20) 4 28:58(7:10) 5 35:45(6:47) 6 42:35(6:50) What would you do differently?: Maybe worn a tank top or tri top, it got pretty warm in the sun. Warm down: none really What limited your ability to perform faster: could be fitter runner Event comments: A really well run deal in an awesome setting, really enjoyed it, nice fast course. Last updated: 2009-08-02 12:00 AM
