It's at the Boulder YMCA (Mapleton) and the coolest thing is that the winner isn't who finishes first but who guesses their time most accurately before the race. The cost is $5 for members, $12 for non-members. It's 200 yard indoor swim, four mile bike ride, and one mile run. Might be good speed work for some...or for those total newbies like me, a way to gently get your feet wet. Any takers? Any? Come on...we could eat afterwards!!

For the price, I would be interested! Do you have any further info or can I just call the Y?

For further info, call the Y. I don't know much else...don't know that there's a whole lot else to know. Sort of a "show up and go" thing. Hope to see you there!

This sounds like it would be fun. I've got a friend who's in Denver this weekend, so that'd be the perfect excuse to drive up, do the tri, then hang out in Denver for a while.

Hey- that sounds fun! I'd like to go. The only hinderance will be getting a bike- I think I can borrow a mt bike from a friend though. I like the food idea! does that include ice cream?

where is this? I don't know boulder very well. I'll have to drive from central denver. Hurrah, fun stuff!

I don't know Boulder well either. It's on the corner of Mapleton and 28th I think. Call the place and ask for an exact location then mapquest it...we'll have lunch or something afterwards. Rock the world.

By the way, and this is important: you have to tell them you're coming 48 hours in advance! If they don't get enough people it'll get cancelled...

Hey- got a call from the woman putting this together. She said the one for this sunday is cancled- not enough people. But, they will have some more in the future but on weekdays. I asked her to email me when they have dates. I'm really kinda disappointed- I was excited about a really little race!
