My living room turns into a bike shop at night and then I take pictures of it... then label everything in it so people don't miss the little things.

Tri-geeky living room bike shop.

I think we have a winner

I have every race number from every race I have ever done. From 5k's to 70.3's, I keep them all. And record my time on it. Drives my wife nuts.

Tri-geeky living room bike shop.

Just had to show my wife the picture of your living room to make my tri-geeknees seem not so bad.

Thanks

I bought a blue helmet. Now I am looking for sunglasess in that colour as well as I match all I need to my first Full IM (June 2010, France) with blue. East or west - good design is the best.

I have what I call my "running closet"    It's a walk-in closet that only has my running/TRI stuff in it.

Has more shoes than you can imagine. like a mini shoe except it only has MY show size heh.  I even keep my "retired shoes" why I'm not sure.  BUT I have many new pairs or slightly worn.   Racing flats, light trainers, regular trainers  shoes I didnt like so much but kept. Extra in the box new shoes of shoes I like as I get nervous that the next generation of my shoe I wont like.   I'm not saying  any of this makes sense.  Just saying I DO this.

All of my workout clothes go in there instead of getting mixed in with regular clothes.

  Wet suit,
  Every Tech shirt I have
  Race shirts
  Running shorts, Tri-shorts-Bike shorts
  Running Socks
Bike/Spin shoes(SPD) -TRI Bike shoes (speed play)
  Cold weather Jackets-Hats-Gloves
Sunglasses (have a few different ones + components)
  Helmets
  Bike Gloves
  Fuel belts
Orthotics in various stages of use (for comparison etc  always breaking in a new pair etc)
  Basket of Body glide/ankle wraps/IT band wrap/anti blister/etc
Foam rollers  (yes I have TWO  I wont tell you their names lol)
  The stick
  Old race numbers/medals/marathon programs
  Books/dvds/Magazines
  GU/Clif Shots/powerbars etc
  Gym bags
  Goggles/kick boards/swimming caps
Towels that are for the gym only
  Other stuff I cant remmber

Essentially I dont want anything to get in my way of finding what I need to get my butt out the door instead of looking for anything.  Sometimes as I'm sure many of you would attest.  The time it takes to have to search for something could be that final straw that gets in the way and can possibly STOP me from getting my run or whatever in.  I do not want an excuse.
