Anyone ever heard anything about this one?

60 bucks? well, guess it probably past earlier cut offs.
Sats my hubby works... usually and has made this tri season a bit of a challenge for me finding races.
Looks like a fun race though.

BbMoozer - 2009-08-11 8:32 AM 60 bucks?

yeah, it's on the pricey side, but it's raising money for a worthy cause!

Plus, volunteering is free...  Wink

Sounds interesting...but have never seen a race with no age group awards? Esp for 60.00? But, not sure what else is going on that weekend in the way of other races.

i just checked - there ARE age group awards.  Email from my contact:

As for awards--we are doing them by age group--the standard age groups
18-24, 25-29, etc.  Thanks for being willing to try to clear this confusion
up for us.

Thanks!

Mary

90 miles south of Titletown, USA
Subject: RE: Hooked on Adrenaline Tri?
I did three loops of the bike course a few weeks back as it is pretty much in my backyard (Jackson). It's a fairly rolling/hilly ride. Nothing too serious as far as climbs go, but the ride will definitely keep you honest. The first mile on Cedar Creek Rd. will have your nether regions begging for mercy.

As for the run, if i'm guessing correctly as to the T1/T2 setup, there will be a decent hill coming out of transition. Once you're out of the park it should be pancake flat and you will finish by running down the same hill that you ran up at the start (don't hold me to this...educated guess).

I doubt I will do this race, but I will probably be there to spectate/volunteer (might be brother's first tri). Good luck and have fun.

I will be rockin the course at this race with  my good friend Bill W!   This race is for a good cause, some tri's same price or higher go to NO charity or community cause.
