Subject: iBike Power Meters & Buying a power meter used
Any iBike power meter users out there?  I would really like to start training with power, but it's hard to handle the cost of most power meters.

In addition, has anybody found any trouble purchasing a power meter used?  Any reasons why this would be a bad idea?

Are you aware of the Competitive Cyclist price on a wired PT?

I'm going to go the used route (one day) and have been watching ebay off and on for most of this year. Lately, you could have gotten a wired PowerTap Pro or SL for somewhere between $280 and $515 with wheel and there are plenty in-between. The wireless models are all the rage now and the wired models have dropped way down in price on the used market.

I'd buy a used PT over an iBike, but I don't have any real experience with either.

Thank you for the competitive cycle list.  I emailed them a couple of questions, but that is a great price.
