Comments: I was walking this one with my friend, and we walked along and caught up on our lives the past 25 years. We got reconnected on FB, and found we lived pretty close to each other, so we decided to do the 5K together. She's building up to running, but walking was just fine with me. What would you do differently?: not a thing!  Post race
Warm down: Decided on a breakfast diner and went to eat with more getting to (re)know each other. Grits were DELICIOUS! Get dressed, eat bar and drink tea in car, drive to race and park.
Met my friend who I haven't seen for 25 years - met her husband and her friends. Saw my friend B.'s booty bent over on the curb and I was right, so said hello to her and friend S. who were running the race, too.
