Total Time = 1h 49m 46s
Overall Rank = 129/307
Age Group = 25-29
Age Group Rank = 16/37
Pre-race routine:

woke up at 4:30, 2 hour drive, one of the first ones there at 7:00. I drank some gatorade and ate a powerbar.
Event warmup:

I did a warm-up swim for about 5-10 minutes.
Swim
  • 15m 15s
  • 820 yards
  • 01m 52s / 100 yards
Comments:

This swim was slower than I thought I could go. I was doing around 12:30 for a similar distance in the pool. I didn't realize the difference between OWS and pool swim.
What would you do differently?:

Train to swim faster.
Transition 1
  • 01m 53s
Comments:

Sweet transition, and I did it with socks and shoes!
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Bike
  • 1h 06m 40s
  • 17.5 miles
  • 15.75 mile/hr
Comments:

So bad! I had a bike computer that was not calibrated correctly so I thought I was doing fine, but this time was really bad.
What would you do differently?:

Calibrate my computer correctly, and then I would have trained harder to go my goal time of 1:00.
Transition 2
  • 00m 44s
Comments:

I already had my running shoes on so this one was super fast.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing
Run
  • 25m 16s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 08m 09s  min/mile
Comments:

I was smoking on the run. I have never run a 5k this fast. I guess I was saving myself after that slow bike :)
What would you do differently?:

Nothing
Post race
Warm down:

Stretched and drank gatorade.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Poor bike training.

Event comments:

This was my first triathlon ever. I've always wanted to do a triathlon, and I always felt that I need to do months and months of training before I even attempted one. I only trained for two months, and I know I could have done a lot better if I had trained better, but I'm so glad that I did it. Now I have goals for next season! I will break the 1:00 bike mark next year. Oh yes. I will.

Nice job for your first race! That's a tough first race  And don't beat yourself up about your bike time. It's a challenging course.
