Pre-race routine:

Had 1/2 pack of Gu Chomps and 20 oz Gatorade since it was so hot.

Went out way too fast, couldn't catch my breath and totally freaked out. Definitely my weakest event. Definitely need to swim my own race next time.
What would you do differently?:

Go out at MY pace and keep calm. Also take lessons.

Slow because of tying shoes. Also didn't have a smooth mount.
What would you do differently?:

Next time will have bike shoes, but will get Yanks! to speed putting on running shoes. Need to practice running mount more.

Passed several people, but bike time looks WAY slow. Not sure what to think about that - perhaps all the hills?
What would you do differently?:

Get roadbike with clipless pedals and work hills. Also just get more time in the saddle.

Will practice bike shoes off, running shoes on before next race since I'll have new bike.

Only problem was flagging endurance. Had to keep run slow to prevent stomach cramping and vomiting. Very thirsty but didn't dare drink at water station due to stomach.
What would you do differently?:

Add long runs and long bike rides into training to increase endurance - I've only been doing short training rides and runs.
