Took it easy on the swim since I am not a very good swimmer. It was very nice to be able to wear the wetsuit.

By mile 2 I had to pie really bad. I kept looking at the woods and trees on the side of the path thinking how bad I wanted to go. By mile 5 my bladder felt ok.

Everything with the race went good. The food after the race could of been much better for me paying $97 to race. They would not let me have a sloppy joe sandwich since I did not do the 1/2. That must be some expensive hamburger they bought if $97 does not cover one sandwich.

I saw the sloppy joe's after the half, but there was no way I wanted any part of that. My stomach was like aw hell no!

I do have to chime in and say that I remember dh doing his first HIM and he went to get food and they had run out of the HIM food. They put it out later, but some of the Oly folks had eaten it all. So I understand how it would suck from your perspective, but I can also see the other side of it. :-)
