Do you guys start to be excited about the race?!?  I'm leaving next Monday for Surfers paradise.  I'm really looking forward to it. :)

I'll be there - spectating, but I'll be there. It's only a 20km ride from my home.

The atmosphere is really building for this event. I went out for my usual ride this morning and there was five times the bikes on the road. It is amazing seeing all the cyclists around.

Im coming down with my son on Saturday to watch the men's - couldnt get the home-leave permit to come on sunday as well for the Womens' final

 

Any tips on where to park / where it is at to get to it ?

Wow what a great event today was. Wont spoil it for those who havent seen result but it was great race 

I cannot believe how fast those guys are - the bike speed and then transition was lightning fast.
