Pre-race routine:

We walked down to Aquatic Park from our hotel. Got our cap, and body marking and then hung out for a couple of hours. Met a nice couple from Vegas.

I was doing this race for the experience and the confidence. Swimming has always been my weakest area in triathlons, so I have been 'facing' my demons :)
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, it was an amazing experience!

If you ever have the opportunity to do this, do. It is a very memorable experience. We traveled 3000 miles to do it and dont regret it at all.
