Total Time = 1h 24m 11s
Overall Rank = 57/224
Age Group = 30-34
Age Group Rank = 7/26
Pre-race routine:

Got up at 5am, ate a PB&J and a bannanna. Drank some water and headed out for the park.
Event warmup:

Not too much. I stretched and swam a little bit.
Swim
  • 01m 41s
  • 643 meters
  • 16s / 100 meters
Comments:

Overall this was a good swim for me and a good recovery from my "freakout" last week at the Great Buckeye Challenge.
What would you do differently?:

Not much really. I would like to get get faster, but that's gonna require me to get a swim coach.
Transition 1
  • 00m
Comments:

No transition times were posted in the results section. I am kind of bummed about that. Hopefully, they can recover the T times and post them. With that said, I think my T1 time was a little slow due to the constant problem of not being able to get my wetsuit off quick enough.
What would you do differently?:

Alter my wetsuit.
Bike
  • 45m 53s
  • 15 miles
  • 19.61 mile/hr
Comments:

This was a PR for me on the bike. That makes 3 races in a row where I have PR's on the bike. I had aero bars installed on my bike yesterday, and today was the test for them. It was nice to be on such a flat course, but it required constant mashing on the pedals. Either way, i'm happy with my performance on the bike.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing really. Just continue to ride and push it harder every time.
Transition 2
  • 00m
Comments:

I would estimate I was in T2 for less than 1 minute. I did have a little trouble racking my bike. It kept tilting on me due to getting hng up on my bag, which was placed right by my front tire.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Run
  • 27m 38s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 08m 53s  min/mile
Comments:

I liked the course, but it caused a slower run time than I had hoped for.
What would you do differently?:

Run more and train to get faster.
Post race
Warm down:

Just enjoyed the feeling of being done and having a good race.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Me

Event comments:

My only gripe is that the transition times are missing.

Awesome job especially on the bike - and since you need to subtract T1 time from it, it is even faster than 19.6mph.

Your wife did a great job with photos.
