Anyone else running this on Sunday?  Looks like it'll be a bit of a training day for me--I'm very de-trained after 6 weeks of rehabbing mid-July pre-Vineman hamstring pull--but I've decided to go ahead and see if I can't just do it at my trail HM pace (~1:45 vs. my 1:36 PR on the road).  My wife's doing the race as well...last year, it was her first HM.  We'll probably both be wearing Disney Tri Team shirts if anyone else is racing and wants to say "Hi."

I did it last year too as my first (well, technically my only, but I'm thinking about Long Beach in October...) HM.

It was fun and definitely a unique experience, but kind of expensive to do every year.

Hi -- I'll be pacing the 2:30 group for Clif, and there will be faster pacers as well. It's a crowded race, but if you've got  a time goal in mind -- and the air quality cooperates -- it's a fun way to run a half marathon.

Hey, thanks for providing the service.  Last year I was battling an injury (Achilles locked up on me) and I was playing leapfrog  for much of the second half of the race with the 1:45 Clif Pace Group.  Thankfully, I was able to leave them behind me by the end.

No idea how it's going to go this time...could be anywhere from 1:35 to 1:50...I won't know until about 4 miles in, I bet.  I'm healthy (unlike last year), but very de-trained after rehabbing my hammie for the last 7 weeks.  Should be interesting.
