JoshR - 2009-09-05 9:13 PM Huskies look like a completely different team. Given how weak the Pac-10 is this year, they could win 5-6 games which is huge coming off their 0-12 season. I like what Steve Sarkisian is doing there.

I disagree that the Pac-10 is down this year. USC is going to be in the conversation for the title. Cal has come out of the gates fast and the game against 'SC could have title ramifications. Wazzu is pathetically bad, but that is no different than last year. Oregon looks like they will struggle. Arizona would be the only other team i see being worse than last year. Other than that, every team should be building on last season.

That said, UW has made leaps and bound of progress. I would love to se Locker have a good season. Tim Tebow...minus the media hype.

Anyone that has seen Jahvid Best the last three years knows that he is going to tear through anything IMHO. Even though it's almost impossible for a non QB to win anymore I think that he is by far the best player in College Football right now! Remember watching him as a freshman and seeing something special. He's an amazing player. Think Cal might have a good chance at it all this year.

yeah, i think the huskies are turning it around. they played well against LSU. certainly were a few holes in defense, and they need to tighten up the corners, but they played like a completely different team. i don't want to get too excited, but if they keep it up they may be in the conversation with USC in a few years.

JoshR - 2009-09-03 10:26 PM wow, real classy move there by blount. I wonder what his punishment will be.

I didn't see the replay till this morning.  Nice cheap shot.
someone please elaborate on the blount thing. i watched until 5:00 left in the 4th and gave up, so apparently i missed some thuggin'. btw, the ducks apparently didn't get the memo that this is not a pre-season scrimmage. a total embarassment to the pac-10 i say.

It's not on youtube anymore because of copyright infringement.  But, they do have it on ESPN:

I don't know about the USC part, but I think change just 2 plays and they win last night. Sarkisian obviously knows what he's doing and I am already eagerly awaiting the rest of the Jake Locker Era.

Great game tonight for Fl St/ Miami. I have to say though, I hate it when there is a big penalty called, and they don't show a replay. I am talking about the pass interference call in the end zone. Come on ESPN. Biggest call of the game up to that point and there is no replay?

Good game though.
