Had to bag stuff because of 2 transition spots- this took longer. Not sure why I was so slow though - didn't feel that long.

Event comments:

Post race and awards weren't until 5:00 p.m. that night- Too long of a drive home to stay. I'm sure that Grand Traverse Resort was hoping we would stay 2 nights.
Overall I'm ok with my time- I haven't put in the training to improve since my last Olympic so at least I maintained close to my time.

NIce race. Too bad you could not stay for your award.  Nice job doing the longer event.  I am just now thinking about doing a similar length duathlon on 9/27.  It would be my first race longer than a sprint and I have been upping my volume as a result.

Also good job on the bike with all the hills.
