Pre-race routine:

short swim, soaked in water. Then stood around 10 min and froze... very cold.

swallowed water at start, Throat closed up had to side stroke to get breath... then swam awesome! Waqter shocked me.
What would you do differently?:

get a wetsuit

run more in training if hip allows
