Event comments:

First Triathlon. The Swim was good, kind of cool to swim underneath the footbridge. The bike was full of hills but not many tough climbs. The run was almost all trail running on clay/rocks/etc. with some trenches along the trail. I did like running over the foot bridge to the finish line. Overall, great experience for my first tri.

Congrats on your first finish (of hopefully many more races to come).

That was a good race and you are right about the run, the first mile and half was definately a challenge for me being a trail run with roots, rocks, inclines (and what was with that 100 yards up the steep hill just to turn around and come right back down it??).  I was glad the back half was relative flat around the lake.

Good job on your first tri! That run was very tough- maybe the toughest 5k I've done in all of the sprints I've raced b/c of the terrain/hills. BUT- I thought it was awesome running on the trails.
