Couple pieceds of toast with peanut butter and then a gel 10 minutes before the race.

Not one of my better runs, my mental block came at mile 3 and I had a hard time recovering after that. It was tough, first 1/2 marathon, but I accomplished my goal of finishing. :)
What would you do differently?:

Work on my mental facilities.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Mental facilities. Nutrition and hydration were good.

Event comments:

Good race, a lot of support along the course, plenty of hydration stations, would do it again.

Kim,
X2 on the mental fatigue for this race.  But hey....you got thru that finish line and that is what matters.  I hope you take the tough times and tough races as opportunities to learn and get better.
Keep up the good work and you'll get those "good races" for sure!
