Well - we've got a bunch of money tied up in bikes and equipment now - but got the whole family engaged!! Already had my new road bike - my daughter needed a new trail bike - and my wife is joining us in biking. BUT - she won't do the road bike thing and we live a mile from a great trail system - so I needed a trail bike to go with her new trail bike and of course a bike rack is necessary - and since there was not a trailer hitch on my van - and... well, you know how it goes. $$$ So we are getting poor - but we should be really fit by season's end ay?

It is really great to have the whole clan involved!

Worth the money spent I'd say. You could be spending it on much less healthy habits. I ALWAYS justify my expenditures for tris, fitness, sports and activities with "just think of how much I could be spending on cigarettes, and then the doctor bills around ill health due to being unfit/unhealthy". Gets me what I want!!
