I did my first tri on Sunday.  I had so much fun.  The race was listed at 600m swim, 22mile bike, and 6 mile run.  I think the swim was close, but the ride was may 19 (my computer froze up) while the run was probable 5miles.  I raced as a clyde for 2 reasons.  I weigh 225 and it was my first.  I finished 1st with a time of 1 hr 51 minutes.

Not that it matters I would have been 3rd in my AG

I live in an area with hardly any straight flats so I have never had a training ride more than 19.5 so my 21.1 was huge surprise (the PRO winner had a 26.3 pace).  Thanks to everyone who has answered any of my many questions and be prepared for more as my HIM is 54 days away.

Patrick,

Congratulations, those look like some fine numbers to me.
