Ah.....1st time caller, long time listener.....or at least it's been a long time since I have chimed in. Anyway, wanted to see who all was doing the ride/race? I really think it'd be a great day for all you IMAZ'ers to get out and ride, I will be participating and have a friend as well who is doing it but wanted to see if I would know more than 1 person on the road so I could draft and come in under 6 hours. Any takers??

I might be up for this. It could be my long ride (and most expensive) for the week.

I'd really like to do this ride, but that's $100 I just don't have right now.

Nice to see your face around here again Zach!!  Why don't you come out with us this weekend? It's FREE!!

ZACH ZACH ZACH ZACH!

This is supposed to be an AWESOME ride this year (some interesting changes have been made) so there will be some hot, fast, nasty packs to play with.

I will be riding in Santa Rosa that weekend or else I'd be all over this!

100 is a lot for a poor college student like me. If I could get the money together I would so do it. I thought bike races were supposed to be cheaper then triathlons. I might as well do Nathans for that price.

That's interesting logic to begin with bike races require similar support/ aid/ volunteers and coordination. WHY wouldn't they cost the same?BUT if you read you will see (like tris) if you signed up on time it was $85 AND UNLIKE Nathans there is a PRIZE purse for winners.

True.

I was just under the impression that Bike races were a little cheaper then Tri's. I guess I was wrong. I guess I can't afford to do any kind of races this year then.

Maybe I will just focus on training and come out swinging after I have a little money.
