Pre-race routine:

Got there just in time to lace up my shoes and start running. I had 31 miles to warm up and a 6:15am start is brutal!

My first Ultra. I knew it would be long and muddy.

Legs felt heavy after about 18 miles. I ran though it, the PB&J, pringles and Coke at mile 22 were a life savers.

it was a 31 mile race for god sakes!
