Can anyone give me info on this course? I took someones slot so it was a somewhat last minute entry for me. I really know nothing about this tri.
Any help is appreciated.

The bike course has a section that is rolling hills and the same on the way back, the rest is fairly flat. I think the run is on the flat side. Swim is in a bay, not ocean, should be protected.

They changed the swim this year. It used to be straight across Powder Point Bridge now it is just a semicircle on the same side of transition. It doesn't look as fun. Th water is usually not too cold.

The bike has a few rolling hills but is pretty fast. You have to cross the bridge..1/2 mile of wooden slats...to start and finish. It feels kind of weird.

The run is mostly flat. Same thing crossing the bridge both ways and ending running through the sand.  It's a good course overall.

Had a great time at the Duxbury Tri. This was my last tri of the season and I was pleased with my results. Although, I was very surprised how unorganized the entire event was. Even picking up my race packet was unorganized. The swim start was off (they had to move the buoys in). When I finished the run just over the bridge no one was telling runners where to go. Runners were just starting so it was a bit confusing. I registered as a Clyde and would have placed, but they had me as an age grouper. This wasn't a big deal to me, but I can imagine some people would have been upset with that.
Even though it was unorganized I had a really good time. The weather was perfect and the racers were great as usual. I had a chance to meet Cait Snow and wish her luck in Kona too.
Once again I didn't meet any BT'ers, next time I am going to wear a sign on my back.

I was there - not my best race by far - was really not feeling well but had fun just the same.  Hung out with team psychos as the finish until I found my kids who were starving (what else is new they are teenagers) and had to leave to forage for food.

it had that down home feel to it which was fine.
