Subject: How do you fix small tear in wetsuite

(I hit a stick) in my last tri and it put a very small tear in my wet suite.  The hole did not go all the way through but tore the top rubber.....  Does any one no how to fix this?  Is there a fix for this?
Paid to much money just to toss and buy new....

I use Aquaseal Neoprene - works perfectly

mine came with some cement to fix those types of things.  I cut mine with a fingernail I think last summer.  I just "opened" the cut, put in the wetsuit cement, closed it up and put a thin layer on top.  Has been perfect ever since.

According to the guy I just talked to at a local scuba shop: if no material is missing, use neoprene cement; if material is missing, use aquaseal.

I spoke to a tech at Blue Seventy and he said that any old rubber cement that you can pick up at a local hardware store works just fine.  Better to get it sealed up no matter how small before it opens into a bigger tear.

Black Aqua Seal (on a black suit of course) is amazing.
