Comments:

Since I am 4 weeks from my marathon and was also doubling up the race (10k then a 5k right after), did not push the pace. Ran comfortably hard. First mile was downhill and fast, evened out pretty steady after that. Shaved 1:04 off of 10k PR. Lots of fast runners in this race so I was a good minute off any AG awards.
What would you do differently?:

Due to marathon training I haven't done speedwork in 14 weeks so I am happy with the results.

Warm down:

Couple of slices of free pizza and a yummy pumpkin beer in between races.

Event comments:

Pro: Great course, great post race pizza/beer, good field, as always RFYL puts on a great race

Con: only one water station at mile 4, started the hand bikes at the same time as the runners leaving a wall to try to get around at the start.
