Subject: 68 degrees???? Lake Royale has been 76 the last two years?!
We have checked Jordan, Falls, Wheeler Lakes and the corp of engineers is saying they are all between 75 and 78 degrees (and swam Jordan lake three days ago without incident).  How is that Lake Royale has such a colder temperature?  I don't have a wetsuit and am concerned about swimming performance due to not having one.  Is the 68 degrees that FS Series stated a misprint?  What's the deal?

Being a much smaller lake it likely fluctuates more. The rain probably cooled it a lot. But maybe they just took the temp in an extra cold spot.

Im going to swim it later today. I'll look to see if I have a thermometer around the house before I leave and report back.

Update on their website: 70 degrees today! Not much real difference, but a big psychological difference.

Sorry to say I couldnt find a thermometer.  I did test out my wetsuit (sleevless) , but the water didnt feel cold at all, and trust me, I am not a big fan of cold water. My arms felt fine right from the begining.
