Wow that is some field! Making me think about getting an extra night in the hotel after the Oly on Saturday to watch on Sunday.

Rookie question, first time for me leaving bke over night. Recommend removing bento box, under seat bag and bring everything in morning or ok to leave them on bike?

While I believe people are basically good, after a couple of experiences would suggest that you plan on taking off everything that can walk away.
Another tip perhaps is to slightly under-inflate your tires and pump them up the morning of the race. This is obviously temperature dependent. When I did IM Arizona few years back you could hear tire "popping" as the day heated up.

Since my wave starts so late, I'm thinking I might be able to kick back and watch the pros finish the bike.. have a little popcorn... work on my tan...maybe bring the blender - any of the ladies over 30 want to join me for some pre-race Margaritas while we wait? Sigh.

Just went for a ride on the race course. I only did a 20 mile out and back ride from moody gardens, but the roads were smooth. The cross-wind was brutal. Hopefully it will not be that strong on Sunday, or Saturday. It about blew me into traffic.
Saw Terrenzo Bozzone running as I was leaving Moody Gardens. There will be some fast people out there this weekend. I'm freaking excited!

KeriKadi - 2010-04-07 10:50 AM My husband and I volunteered Sunday and will be body marking so make sure you say hi

Will you be wearing the pink boa so we can recognize you?

LOL I just saw this while on my inspire rampage.  I won't be wearing the boa, that was after my first race as a homage to some great friends and it's damn hot but I do think I just might stitch up a shirt to support all the BTers out there.  Any suggestions?

Looks great.
