Chicago Eliminated from 2016 Olympics

 Subject: Chicago Eliminated from 2016 OlympicsJust heard that Chicago was eliminated from consideration in the first round. I found that surprising, the first round. I heard 70% of either Chicago or Illinois people were against having the Olympics there, why would that be? |

I was for it, until our Mayor put the taxpayers on the hook for it in June. It went from 75% support to 47% support after he did that. Chicago has a history of major corruption (just a matter of time before the FBI gets Daley) and when it feel onto the taxpayers to cover any short fall, that crushed the support. |

Madrid's a tough sell because by 2016, there will have been several in a row in Europe (three I think). And how much fun would the Olympics be in Rio?! Par-tay! |
