Subject: Metrowest Gyms w/pool?
Hi all - I've been biking and running for some time and I'd like to start doing triathlons as well, but I need to do some swimming for that to happen. I've done several 1/2 marathons in the 1:40 range and some local club bike rides and races and TT's.

I live in Bedford, and I'm looking for a gym that has a pool. I'd rather not pay a ton of money to just use a pool a few times each week. I know that Boston Sprots Clubs has a gym in Lexington, which is less than 3 miles from my house, but membership is $90+ per month.

Are there any other options out there?

Thanks,
Nate

I just joined BSC in Westboro for 49/mo with no joining fee...you might want to see what specials they are running. I also get $150 reimbursed by my health insurance which makes it cheaper than the Y

Where in Metrowest? It's a big area.

I was swimming at the Franklin Y - it's good for early morning swims, but can get busy. Daytime availability on week days is not so great - 3 days a week around noon, and the availability gets much worse during summer.

Just switched to BSC in Franklin because of better daytime lap availability.

Apparently Chamberlain Pines Swim club in Holliston also has lap times (outdoor only).
