Event comments:

This year the corrals seemed spread out better or maybe I was starting in a better corral based on my ability. I wanted to beat last years time, 1:48:37...So I ran out pretty hard. I was able to keep that up until about mile 6 or 7...but instead of really slipping to a comfortable pace, I just kept pushing. My last few miles were definitely slower than the first, but they weren't that much slower...So I took over 2 min off my time...a PR!!!!

I love this race and the eye candy never ever disappoints.

Congrats on the PR! That's pretty damn good for someone who was just hoping to beat two hours, heh.

I'm glad I found you in the corral -- it was great meeting you and getting to chat a little. Hope to see you at another race sometime soon.
