I need some suggestions for a good set of training wheels(wheels for training, not actual "training wheels." I'll beat you guys to the joke). I currently have zipp 404's that I bought used but they are 650's and I need 700's. I just bought  a QR tiphoon frame set and need wheels. I am only looking for a training set of wheels for now (titanium isn't cheap). I'm looking for a solid wheels at a good price. I am 6' and 190lb if that helps. Any help would be appreciated.

I love my Neuvation M-28s.  I have about 1,000 miles on mine and they are still rolling true and I am 220 lbs.  I think for the price they are tough to beat.

Craig,

Check out some Easton wheels.  They don't get a whole lot of pub but they are solid wheels for both training and racing at a decent price.  I have a set of EA50SL's for my road bike.  I've put the front wheel on my tri bike with a disc in back for a few races and had some good times.

For training, you really can't go wrong with Ultegra hubs and Mavic Open Pro rims. You can get these all day for under $300.

I'm a little heavier but I'm looking at any of these:

I have a pair of the shimano, and they are strong.  I also owned (but sold) a pair of the vuelta.  They stayed true over 1000 miles.

I have my eye on the Neuvation they suggest for my next purchase to replace some Mavics I have.
