I was able to sneak about 3 1/2 miles in this afternoon, which puts me over 25% for the month! My IT band has stayed quiet for me, which is nice too.

kromanowski - 2009-10-07 2:57 PM THANKS Bill!!!

No problem.  I thought it was some magical power and then I realized hit New Thread - Name it the same - add page #2.

Glad I went to High School

Shhhhhhh. Don't ruin the mystique. It's that YOU HAVE MAGICAL POWERS, and were therefore able to create the new thread.

Or something like that. LOL

Back from softball, and you guys have already burned through a whole thread. Impressive! We lost, but the team looked pretty good and hopefully we can get it going next week.

No no no. No one has lost anything (yet). It's only October 7th. There are WEEKS left in the challenge. Keep running!

I am 130 posts away from 5K.  Time to compile my thank you's and all the good information I have learned in just under 2 years.

Wax on - Wax off

Are you planning some big sappy post for 5000?  I think I wasted mine on post about my friend's pretend tapeworm that was named Vinnie.  I'm deep and philosophical like that

ceilidh - 2009-10-07 2:04 PM I just got to open the door and stick my head outside. It is the most perfect day ever and I am missing it..

It was beautiful here too.  My legs were still saying no way no how on the workout though.  I'll heal up just in time to run in the snow on Sunday

ceilidh - 2009-10-07 3:03 PM Can't wait to see those pictures, Bill. One of my more stoic friends cried when she visited the GC for the first time.

Well if I do I won't tell anyone but I can imagine some tears since it entails 250 miles of bike riding up there - I might just be crying tears of pain

I guess I need to keep riding my bike huh? - Awww carp!  Guess 6000 miles on the bike this year is possible - ouch!

Wowza that's allotta bike mileage!

I put off running until tonight while my son is at soccer practice. I need to stay close by anyway in case he has an asthma attack. I'm a little tired after staying up until 3:30 AM trying to stop an overflowing toilet...sitting on the couch feels pretty dang good right now!

I PROMISE I will get my miles in. Can't let the GOUHLIES fall behind in the challenge.

Overflowing toilets........not cool.  I hope everything's in working order now!
