Which would you use if you want to recover your calf muscles after long runs or to sleep in?http://www.2xu.com/compression/ua1244b.html http://www.2xu.com/compression/ua1352e.html

i got the socks because they also cover my feet - which can get sore after running long.  i don't know if they help or not, but it seems like they help with ankle soreness, heel/arch soreness etc.  then again, it could be mental, who knows.

I have both, the socks are tighter then the sleeves, I use the socks to lounge around in and the sleeves to race in.

I've recently started using compresion socks for recovery, and they seem to help. I just bought the cheap ones (<$15) from my local drug store, and they seem to work just fine for me. Maybe the more expensive ones would be better, who knows.... but I think it was $15 well spent!

and X2 on socks vs sleeves.

I voted socks for recovery.  I ran a marathon in 2XUs on sunday and I was surprised to find both calves were threatening to lock up on me.  Can't blame it on the sleeves, they probably would've given me problems a lot earlier than mile 22 without them.
