Actually the older you get the more time off you should take because it takes you longer to heal. I can see your point of doing a "run-focus" doesn't count as the "off-season" but kind of does since you're not full tilt swim/bike while doing the run focus as you would be "in-season"

Looks like ADoller owes you a kick to the nuts though...haha. But he did bring up some very valid point to think about if you'd just lay off the "Floyd Landis special"
