I am thinking of doing a couple open water swim practices next month on Sunday June 12 and either Saturday June 18 or Sunday June 19.

Is anyone interested in joining me?

If so let me know what day(s) are best for you and what time. Also if you have a beach preference.

Another OW swim practice this Thursday (June 9). We are meeting at Seward Park at 7pm. Last week there were 3 of us. We had a great time! Hope some more people can come this week.

I'm definitely down with some open water swimming. I don't have much a preference of beaches, but I am dependent on the bus line, so as long as the swims are SOMEWHERE in seattle i'll be there.

Oh yeah, is it warm enough to swim without a wetsuit here? I've never swum in Seattle, but for some reason I picture the water being freezing.

Lake Washington was pretty warm on Thursday when I swam. There was a guy swimming without a wetsuit and he seemed pretty comfortable. I've been swimming at Seward Park. It seems like a lot of triathletes train there on a regular basis. If anyone is interested in swimming tomorrow sometime, let me know. Otherwise I am planning on swimming again Thursday at 7pm at Seward.

Guess what I am doing tomorrow? Yep! Swimming again at Seward Park 7pm tomorrow (Thursday, June 30). I hope some people show up! I think I might be the only one this week.

I'll give it a shot, as long as my experiments tomorrow finish on time. But listen....you can't make fun of my bad swimming. I think the breaststroke is definitely going to make an appearance so that I don't die.
