Mudman Triple Trail Races 10/24 and 25

For those of you done with your racing seasons...My husband and I put on a 2-day, 3 race trail running event at Kenyon College (Gambier, OH). This is the 3rd year of the event, and it will be on 10/24 and 10/25 this year. The Mudman Triple includes a trail time-trial in the dark (7:00PM Saturday), a 5K steeplechase (9:30AM Sunday) featuring "The Gauntlet", and a 10K cross-country run (11:00AM Sunday). You can enter 1, 2, or all 3 races... entering all three makes you an official "Mudman" and you get a special extra prize.If you're still reading and wondering what exactly "The Gauntlet" is, it's a 75-meter super-obstacle that includes mud pits, dirt piles, giant logs, and a stream crossing. And you get to do it twice, the first time 800m into the race and the second 2.6 miles into the race.The courses are challenging but scenic, with a lot of hills (longest is ~800m), and a mix of single track and double track. Entry fee is $15 for the first race, and $5 for each additional race. Fee includes technical T, Saturday evening chili fest, Sunday morning snacks, a nifty glowstick (for the night race), and usage of Kenyon Athletic Center locker room/shower pass.You WILL get dirty.
