$300 is pretty expensive. The Lazer Tardiz TT Helmet is practically the same helmet for $175 and it has the aqua port.

I just ordered one... my Rudy Sling road helmet fits perfect, so I'm taking a chance that the Wingspan TT will fit excellent as well.

I don't know if it still works, but I used a discount code, 20offbro and then the price went down to something very reasonable... worth a try if you're interested. They won't ship until late december though, so no use for this season, but on the other hand, you should have the new helmet in good time for 2010 season...

+1

I did the same and got a considerable discount with the 20offbro code. If the 20offbro doesn't work, there's another one in the USAT magazine. I can try to find it if anyone wants to give it a shot.

Rudy Project is very liberal with handing out discounts. You should be able to find a 40% off coupon through something (promotion, tri club discount, "sponsorship"). I ended up getting mine for about $145 with a sweet combo of my club discount minus a sale percentage off of the remaining total. It was good timing in the off-season so I don't know if anyone could get it down that low this time of year. I never would have bought it at $300, but I do like it a lot.

It was the fastest helmet I tested in the wind tunnel.

Of course that doesn't mean anything for someone else :/

I've had no complaints with it though... and I paid nowhere near $300 for it.

Speak of the devil, someone just posted a 40% discount code that you can use on the Wingspan if you want.

In case you didn't see it: http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp...

Good timing!

I've raced in a Wingspan for about year now and like it a lot.  It is very comfortable and have never had a problem with heat even though it is black and I've done some very hot climate races.
