Run
Comments: Note: I was pushing Alexa in the jogging stroller! Great run What would you do differently?: I was a good run. I probably could have made 3rd overall if I hadn't been pushing the stroller. Post race
Warm down: Walk it out; keep moving a little. Jogged back just a bit to meet Beth and encourage her for the final tenth. Grabbed a bagel and talked with friends. What limited your ability to perform faster: Pushing the jogging stroller was really the only thing. I'm sure my legs were fatigued from the 20 miles earlier that morning, but I didn't feel that to much during the run itself. Event comments: Fantastic race! Didn't know what to expect, since I was pushing the jogging stroller. Still, managed to have a great race: 1st stroller to finish, 3rd in Age group, 9th overall Great race, for a charity event. Games and activities for kids were nice. Used D-tags for timing. Apples, bananas, bagels, and coffee/hot chocolate were offered. Last updated: 2009-10-24 12:00 AM

Age Group Rank = 3/10
In this case, I'd finished up my 19.5 mile long run by arriving at the race site. :-)
Met Beth, got strollers ready. Grabbed a bagel before the warmup. Tried to keep moving a bit since legs, got stiff when I stopped.
Pushed Ryan in the stoller for the 1-mile event while Beth ran with Ryan. Probably a 7:50 pace or so.
