a bandit would be hard to catch.

Clearly you have forgotten how slow I am!

I'm now leaning towards long easy run in the snow at PVSP.

Ooohhhh....that's an offer tempting enough to make me consider bailing on the race. Uh...that was an offer, right?

However, I will not give you a nice fleece for running with me.

I got the Celtic performance long sleeve shirt over the weekend. Do we also get a fleece jacket?

I'm pretty sure the RD won't cancel it.  He sent out an email last night saying they'll just switch make it a cross country course if the roads are too icy.

I'm going to play it by ear and see how things are early tomorrow morning before deciding to make the trek to Baltimore.

This year it's just the shirt. Last year was a fleece.

HA! I already picked up my premium. Of course then I'm faced with the moral dilemma of whether I should wear the shirt if I don't do the race.

I still wear the fleece from last year and I didn't run the race.

Steve I can solve that dilemma for you.  when we meet at PVSP, just give me the shirt.  I have no morals and would be happy to wear it... with all these 4:00AM runs you can never have too many long sleeved shirts.

I wonder how Traci feels about doing the race tomorrow!

Starting to have serious doubts about driving into the city tomorrow morning.

Anyone else want to hit some snowy trails tomorrow morning?

I'd be shocked if this race happens too... but hope it does b/c that would be epic.

Steve - give me a call after 8:00.  I'll pick you up with 4wd if you'd like... and can run for up to 90 minutes.

Does the snow even out the uneven terrain and reduce the chance of turning an ankle?  I'm worried with this much snow we'll have no way to see that there's an uneven rock right there, etc.

I've run in this much snow before, but only on the roads.

We didn't go from Fulton.  Just not worth the headache to get there and have a "fun run" since I know for sure the course would be pretty treacherous.

Local news said 500-700 runners made the race. It was delayed until 8:45. I couldn't make the trek from Columbia. Oh well, I will run 3-5 miles later today- should be fun.
