I guess I am the odd one.  Mine only goes on for certain events.  I bet it's been a year since it was on my hand.  My main reason is having my hands inside of live control panels, some of that voltage can be hard on you.

I have worn it in the lake, but that is just swimming off the boat on vacation.

I tape mine with medical tape.  Mine is quite loose as I'm a lot leaner than when I got married.  It almost fell off 3 or 4 times last night packing my groceries at the store!  I'm actually getting a 'replacement' in a couple days and this one will be added to a chain for wearing around my neck.  When I get the new one, I will probably still tape it when swimming.  I won't keep it on for races; I'll leave it at home (my wife's suggestion).  We do have our rings covered on our HO insurance and it doesn't cost a whole lot extra.

I leave it on for tri activities. I only take it off to play my stand-up bass, as it clacks on the fingerboard.

I leave mine on for pool swims (figure it is probably safer on my finger than in the lockers at the gym) but take it off for OWS.

I also take it off to run (scared I get mugged) or ride (uncomfortable with gloves).

I take mine off when I go swim.  I also take off my necklace that is always on.  I don't need anything extra slowing me down in the pool.  I'm slow enough without it.  I also take the ring off rock climbing and lifting weights but not for much else.

I do not wear my diamond rings when I bike/swim/run or do any other type of workout.

However, my husband and I have each others names tattooed on our fingers, so we/I always have on our wedding bands.

I lost my wedding ring during a triathlon this season. It was horrible. A pic my wife took during my swim-bike transition shows I had it on, but as we were walking back to the parking lot I realized it was gone. I looked for about an hour but never found it.

I got a ring tattoo.  If you are wondering, so did she.Laughing   If she does leave me I have no idea what I will turn it into.

My ring is loose, so I do not wear it for any training.. Swimming, biking or running. To many other things to worry about.
