I understand there are three ways to race in Kona.

1.  Get a slot from a qualifying IM or 70.3 race.
2.  Get a lottery slot.
3.  Buy a charity spot.

The question I've not been able to get answered so far is what 70.3 races out there are qualifiers for Kona 2010?  Tried looking on Ironman.com but couldn't figure it out.  Does anyone know?

Go to IM China.  In 2009 it had 50 slots for 360ish people.  Best chances.

They have charity slots for Kona? I didn't know that, are you sure? Here are the 70.3 with Kona slots:
California 70.3
St. Croix 70.3
Ford Ironman 70.3 Hawaii
Eagleman 70.3
Ironman 70.3 Buffalo Springs Lake
Ironman 70.3 Monaco
Although I hear Eagleman may not anymore.

I think that might be a reference to slots you can bid on.
