Hi Stuffed T's! I hope everyone had a good T day and that no one got eaten...haha...

I went to the Y this morning to do my treadmill run and they were having a new circuit training class, it was lots of fun so I got a strength workout and well as a run in today plus I did a bike trainer ride while the turkey was cooking. So I ticked one in each column off. I rechecked my BT log with the google doc and adjusted for some I didn't record for the challenge while away in Aruba.

Happy training everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving!

There won't be a Sunday update this week. (Since Monday is the last day of the month.)Please have the spreadsheets updated with your total November numbers by 8 PM EST, Tuesday December 1st. I'll pull the numbers on Tuesday evening, and give everyone the FINAL STANDINGS.Also, since it's a Holiday, I'm giving you all a Holiday Present! (You do know I'm a giver, right? Heh.)You may now reach 105% of your total goal! That's right, you can help out lagging teammates by achieving more than 100% of your total goal! Have a happy, healthy, and safe Thanksgiving!Dee

I got in a little ride this morning.  10.25 miles.  It was a lot colder and windier than I anticipated.  I didn't plan for the light rain either.  Those 3 things kept me from doing a run immediately after.  I'm a little closer.  Have a 5K on Sat and tomorrow I'll get some more mileage in.  I hope to make it by Monday.

A belated happy thanks giving! (I'm english so had no clue what day it was on).

Managed to get in another run and strength session last night, getting so close to my goals I can almost touch them!

I've had to readjust my goals for the beginning of the month when I was sick. I was hoping to make it up but should have admitted that coming off being sick was not the best time to make time up in addition to keeping on track to begin with. I think I am rambling in my post turkey and pumpkin pie haze...

With that said, I think I can still come close to my bike goal with a couple long rides this weekend. Sadly, I will make up some of the run but not enough. And believe me, it showed in my Turkey Trot yesterday!

I did well on my Turkey Trot.  Beat my goal by over two minutes.  Did not burn out like I feared because of trying to stay up with all of the runners.

Won a pecan pie in the raffle!  Tongue out

Very fun!!  Now turkey is cooking and everything is well under way for this afternoon.  Stepdaughters and their husbands are coming over ...  way fun.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE

Dee- pecan pie? Awesome!! Much better than the medal I "won"... Hope you had a great day!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving Stuffed Turkeys!  (I am definitely stuffed after yesterday.)

After taking a week off to see if some weird muscle aches would go away (they didn't), I got back out for a run this morning.  I'm definitely slacking this month.  Sorry team.  Doesn't look like I'm going to make my goal.

Happy belated t-day everyone!  I am just now back in town, but managed to keep up the running while camping.  Everyone should be proud of themselves for not backing off on training during what we knew would be a crazy month!  Keep it up and finish strong!!!

Got my last two workouts of the challenge done today!   Thanks for all the support to help me reach my goal.  The challenge definitely helped me get on the bike and do lifting when I didn't really want to, so it was a very successful month for me!  Thanks team!

Hey fellow Turkeys!  I've been very bad about not checking in here in the thread because life has been busy.  I have been getting in my wogging workouts though and updating the spreadsheet.  In fact, I'm at 113% of my goal, so I have a little extra that can be used to help out others.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Looks like I will end up just shy of my goal.  Sorry.    However, thanks for the support this month.  I KNOW that I did several more runs this month than I would have if I didn't have a team depending on me.

Hit my goals this month! Laughing   But sure didn't get any extra....

Thanks team for helping me stay on track!  Like others, I would not have done as much as I did this month if it were not for the accountability of the team.

Congrats to all who managed to train during this crazy month in the off-season!Smile

I got in the last two workouts and made my goal.  I've come down with a cold and believe me, if not for this challenge, I would not have gotten off the couch tonight.  For that I thank you.  I think.  Now off to bed.

Hey guys! I'm sooo sorry I wasn't able to hit my goals. This month has been amazing on a personal level, though, since it got me back logging miles and pool meters for the first time in a year. I feel like I have my triathlon mojo back and even though I ultimately fell short (for the first time in a challenge - embarrassing!) I'm finally getting active and feeling better physically after a very tough year. Thanks for the inspiration!

I'd also like to thank everyone for the inspiration. It's the first time I've done one of these challenges and I know I would have missed a couple of sessions had it not been for the team!

2nd place - Gabbing Gobblers - 96.5%
3rd place - Fall-Dippides - 94.9%

NOVEMBER CHALLENGE FINAL RESULTS!

Here are the FINAL TEAM STANDINGS for the November Challenge

1st place - COLD TURKEYS - 97.9%
2nd place - Gabbing Gobblers - 96.5%
3rd place - Fall-Dippides - 94.9%
4th place - Stuffed Turkeys - 85.9%

Note: There was one person on the Fall-Dippides team who had a really low percentage. I don't know if she continued to participate in the challenge or if she dropped out. (Team Captains - this is one of the things you should track! If someone disappears, let me know!)

If I remove that one person from team Fall-Dippides's spreadsheet -- they are over 100%! So I'm going to declare TWO winners for the November Challenge:
1st place - COLD TURKEYS - 97.9%
And a TIE for 1st place - TEAM FALL-DIPPIDES!

Therefore, these two teams may display the "winning" signature line.

Gabbing Gobblers and Stuffed Turkeys will display the "losing" signature line. (And yes, I've added it to my sig lines already.)

Great job everyone! See you next month!
