Pre-race routine:

Terri and I had Cubanito's last night... that was probably a mistake. My gut didn't feel right throughout the run.

Comments:

I got to the race late and was rushed throughout registration. Never felt right throughout the race, but I beat beat my time from a couple years ago. To be honest, my training and diet have not been great ever since Ironman, so I couldn't really expect to do well here. Even having put in 85 miles of running this month, I just haven't felt good about my running... not entirely sure why.
What would you do differently?:

I dunno. I had a great 10K Trail run at Colorama three weeks ago, and not real great results here. Despite doing an Im this year, and all the distance running I did training for it, I'm just not real fast running anything over 10K.

Event comments:

I would call this an average event. IMO, they needed more and better-organized Aid Stations with more volunteers. I had to wait a couple times just to get a drink of water because there was only one person working each station.

Good race! Where did you find the results? I have looked on Active.com and BadgerlandStriders.org and haven't found anything.

Geez, Rich - would you think that doing an IM just over a month ago would be of any reason why you didn't have a "stellar" run, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm???? 

I bet you learned on NOT to eat out at that place again the night before a race, too?
