Pre-race routine:

Showed up a little behind schedule, had to hurry up to get my registration packet.
Event warmup:

No warm up beyond running to registration and back to the car to change.

Comments:

Felt dehydrated starting the race. Thought about wearing my camelback but decided not to. I should have in retrospect, some water along the route, but not much. I brought along one Gel to eat during the run, this was the right amount, but again, I needed more fluids beyond a dixie cup every 3 miles or so.

The first 10K I did not feel that good, but the last 5K went well. I picked up the pace and felt better.
What would you do differently?:

I have not been running much lately and I felt it today.
